No. 6960 Raveningham Hall is a steam locomotive that was built in 1944 by the Great Western Railway. It is a member of the Hall class, which were designed for heavy express passenger and freight duties on the Great Western Railway's mainline. The locomotive was initially based in the West Midlands, and later operated in various parts of England, Wales, and Scotland before being withdrawn from service in 1965. Raveningham Hall was subsequently preserved by the Great Western Society, and has been restored to operational condition. Today, the locomotive is a popular attraction at steam rallies and heritage railway events in the UK.
